As a Senior Interior Designer at MI Concept, I contributed to the concept design of the Madinah Restaurant, located within the Cultural Village of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The design was deeply inspired by the rich culture and architectural heritage of Saudi Arabia, blending traditional elements with contemporary aesthetics to create a unique and modern dining experience.

The concept draws from the region’s architectural beauty, incorporating intricate woodwork, geometric patterns, and natural stone to reflect the cultural essence of Saudi Arabia. The layout embraces open, flowing spaces that balance intimacy with larger communal areas, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The interior features a mix of traditional elements, such as Mashrabiya-inspired screens and sculptural lighting, alongside modern furnishings and finishes. The palette of earthy tones, paired with soft, atmospheric lighting, enhances the inviting ambiance, while the use of local materials ties the design closely to Saudi Arabia’s cultural roots.

As part of the design concept,  I ensured that every aspect of the design—from handcrafted furniture to the curated décor—highlighted the unique character of the region. The Madinah Restaurant, through its thoughtful design, offers a visually stunning and culturally immersive dining experience that celebrates the heart of Saudi Arabia’s rich traditions.
