Small and Sophisticated Kitchen Renovation in Toronto
When I met with my Craig to discuss his new dream kitchen, he already had a very good idea of what he wanted: more storage and exquisitely planned and crafted space. With the help of an inspiration image Craig provided, we decided on the transitional modern style with a touch of European flair.
The millwork aesthetic for door and drawer fronts was borrowed from furniture and interior wall paneling details. This detail gives the room a more sophisticated vibe typically seen in the living room and dining room areas of the house.
The new kitchen was designed by ACA DESIGN STUDIO and built and installed by Lucvaa Kitchens in Toronto. Existing millwork was replaced with new "Colbourne" cabinet and drawer fronts. The new countertop is a Calcatta Gold quartz from LuxFancy and the backsplash picket tiles are WOW GRADIENT CRAYON COLLECTION in white gloss.
The neutral yet elegant white, grey and navy paint palette by Benjamin Moore was warmed with bronze accents (pulls), the Delta Trinsic faucet and West Elm Glass Globe lights with metal trim.
The entry from the living room frames out the beautiful Calcatta Gold quartz waterfall panel with honey colored drizzle pattern.
CLIENT REVIEW:
Incredibly talented, personable and a pleasure to work with, Agnieszka walked me through the design process, prepared options and helped me select a kitchen design that suited my home and family. Her attention to detail was phenomenal, and she blended modern features into a century-old home beautifully, with refined finishes and functional spaces. Dependable, attentive and creative - I’d highly recommend Agnieszka for any home renovation project.
